I’m about to ask Callen-Lorde to switch me to someone else because this doctor has zero empathy and it makes me super uncomfortable to be talking about something so vulnerable such as my CPTSD causing me to cry a lot only to be met by absolutely no acknowledgment, reaction, or anything. Dodged a bullet here since I wasn't able to get a full assessment during our meeting. Health Care providers should be interested in providing care. This person did the opposite. He was condescending, talked over me, blamed other folks for not informing me for proper preparation, unkind, curt, and dismissive. I changed my insurance and waited 5 months to see a pysch to find our interaction was completely dehumanizing. One other person was brave and shared, so I will be too. Woefully under informed, did not pay attention to the details of my care. He did not listen to me, he did not provide explanations, he mocked me, he belittled me, he gaslit me, and he made me feel as if my thoughts, feeling, and time were worthless. I felt my mental health was damaged through this interaction.
