Similar to everyone else, it wasn’t a great consult. I found Sadiq to be condescending, lacking true empathy & he rushed thru our time together. Callen-Lorde can do better Truly a disappointing experience.
I’m about to ask Callen-Lorde to switch me to someone else because this doctor has zero empathy and it makes me super uncomfortable to be talking about something so vulnerable such as my CPTSD causing me to cry a lot only to be met by absolutely no acknowledgment, reaction, or anything. His mannerisms seem almost sociopathic. Also, even worse, he gatekept my own pre-existing ADHD diagnosis from me, disbelieving that it was legitimate because he personally believes that ADHD is over diagnosed due to TikTok. Dodged a bullet here since I wasn't able to get a full assessment during our meeting. Health Care providers should be interested in providing care. This person did the opposite. He was condescending, talked over me, blamed other folks for not informing me for proper preparation, unkind, curt, and dismissive. I changed my insurance and waited 5 months to see a pysch to find our interaction was completely dehumanizing.
