I’m not typically that person that does things like this, but this is the quality of apartment you get at Saddlebrook in Urbandale, IA operated by Richdale Group Property Management. Water pipes in other apartments bursting, hot water heater leaking, plumbing issues, Mold and mildew…These are just a sample of what I have endured while residing there. Now they want to evict me for choosing not to pay rent for the last 11 days on my lease. Why would I pay for this crap? Apparently $$ is their only goal. Not community or reside... read more
These apartments are absolutely not worth moving into. After living here for me and my roommates full lease we had many problems with the apartment's maintenance and leasing office. We had tons of damage when we first moved in and proceeded to have water damage that went unfixed, having to have cold water for over a week because they couldn't replace our water heater and just lots of ac problems and much more. Update- They came out to fix it. Lasted a week and it went out. I called and spoke to someone at the office and was supposed to get a call back. I never did. I spoke with someone today and we will see how it goes. They have me a $200 rent credit, should have been more considering this is not fixed yet. Can’t wait to leave this place. I called several times before they told me anything about my A/C and it was a big maybe if they could get to it. I kept being told I’d get a call back but I never did. I had to call them again and again. Nothing done for this. Window/seals Are old, not great. It’s not super updated. I can’t wait to move out. Wish I could do 0 stars. It’s 81 degrees in my apartment.
The apartments are fine. It’s a relatively quiet area, and is pretty pet friendly. But the maintenance ability of the complex has gone down hill, and has no signs of improving. A leak appeared in the roof of my garage months ago, and while the leak was stopped multiple work orders were submitted for repairs, and closed out without any work being done or communication.
