RecommendedVery hefty climb if you prefer the steep mountain climbing hiking adventure and the scenery is pretty spectacular once you’ve gotten to the top.
Wildflowers in season and of course the Joshua trees. Lots of nice hiking trails.
Have been coming here since childhood, it's a great place to make new memories, or remember old ones. Beautiful desert scenery for hiking. Good picnic spots.
Desert Park has a campground and a picnic area. $6 for the day and $20 overnight. 3 different trails. No pets allowed, unless you get permission from park ranger. It also has a cool little visitor center.
The sunset view is excellent. It's pretty enjoyable when the wind isn't blowing. The grounds are nice and clean.
