Should be -10 stars downright disgusting how patients are treated, including mothers that have had their HEALTHY child ripped away from them immediately
This should be a negative star review. My son is a twin and was born at 33 weeks. We had to transfer hospitals after about 6 weeks in NICU to Sacred Heart for a heart procedure. The lack of care and attention from the nurses is appalling. The doctors are equally dismissive and downright rude. My son had his procedure and he needed a blood transfusion and an IV. Where they had that bandaged up was so tight it left a deep cut on his little foot. My husband and I spent 4 days trying to get nurses or doctors to even examine the ... read more
These were the worst days of my life and only made worse by this department. My son was full term, literally born 1 day early from his due and stopped breathing momentarily during delivery and had to be on the cpap at delivery. Response time of the NICU team was great 40sec they were in the delivery room. It was after that it all fell apart. The staff are terrible and make the NICU 10x more miserable than it needs to be. I seen a lot in the four months my daughter was in the NICU but I will try to keep this short. They try to make it like a prison. They don’t allow cell phones aside from one phone call a day and you must coordinate your phone call with the nurse first.
