On Feb 20th I had a 11 AM appointment for a swallow test. I was told to be there at 1030, I arrived at 1020 with my paperwork. I entered the waiting room the reception area was with no lights on I thought I was in the wrong place. Then the lady with blonde didn't say good morning just abruptly says we are running Iate. My feeling is they need to phone people if that's the case. At 1130 approximately I went to the reception area and asked how much longer, she says they are getting the room ready. I hadn't eaten since mi... read more
We have been hear sense 6 yesterday. Here it is 3:00 am the next day . It is ridicules for someone to come to the hospital for help and all you get is TIME . FIRST OFF the people in the Er when you first come in the door are so rude . We should have gone to Santa Rosa Medical . Three hours top he would have been in his room resting and getting better . We will not be coming back ..
This hospital and its associated physicians is a mixed.bag. The cardiac unit is world class. Other departments less so. It took me four months to see an endocrinologist. Ditto an ENT doctor. I was referred to a private practice renal doctor because the hospital didn’t have one. Specialists, it appears, don’t want to practice in Pensacola.
Brought my mom here from 70 miles away because i heard they were good. I came in the next day and she was fully restrained screaming "help me" for an hour and no nurse came by. The brilliant doctor decided to take he off her opiates and benzos(the latter can kill you) but he would give them to her again in 3 days. Today i was told by the hospital lead if i showed anything but positive enerhy id be arrested(tamerea- shout out to you). And Dr Navone told me he had opened an elder abuse case against me because he thinks im... read more
Horrible treatment and discriminated against by a nurse named Jackie on the mother and baby/labor and delivery unit. Will 100% go to Baptist for any more babys.
If I could rate less than 1 star I would. I am a Nurse and I oversee 4 Group Homes a Day Program. I had one of my MENTALLY CHALLANGED Residents at Sacred Heart ER on 10/5/2021. My Resident was brought in approx. 12N by one of my Colleagues. I don't know if this is where the miscommunication started but when I arrived at 2:30pm to relieve him he told me that they were very rude and the Dr (Female) did not want to hear why he was brought in and said to my colleague when he did try to explain and give information. "You're just ... read more
My friend was sent home disregarded her swollen legs and feet sent her home. Went to West Fl and guess what gave her lasix swelling dropped drastically. Sacred heart Er did nothing. She had cellulitis which caused all the swelling. Would never recommend ER to anyone and will never go there again.
Love the hospital. However cleanliness is not good on 2nd floor of maternity ward today. Bathroom had poop on wall and toilet. Garbage too full in bathroom and waiting room. Asked a custodian about cleaning. Nope not clean and at 5 when i left at 5. Unsanitary and horrible. Please make sure these areas are checked amd clean. Sad.
If I could give a zero rating I would. I was sent to Sacred Heart for a brain hematoma because they have on staff a neurological surgeon. I took a COVID test in ER. At 2pm the following day there were still no COVID results. To have the CT scan, I had to be covered with opaque plastic wrap and taken to the lab and the CT scan was done. By 6PM there were no results available for the scan. After numerous discussions with the nurse I discovered that there was no neurological surgeon to read my test. They wanted me to spend... read more
