Due to “Covid restrictions” I was not allowed to be at my 17 year old daughters labor and delivery. I have been around her up until I dropped her off at the front door of your hospital. How is this ok? I have messaged to get a phone number to speak to someone with only being told to call Monday at 8am. She was to be at the hospital tonight (Sunday) at 8pm? How would you allow a bunch of protesters on your property and not a mother of 17 year old give birth?
My mother sat in the room for over an hour and a half, after countless rude encounters with staff, and never received any kind of care or ANY thing. No one came in to check on her. No one asked if she needed anything. They were not busy at all. Sadly I’d never go to their EMERGENCY ROOM for any kind of EMERGENCY.
very slow need more than one gastroenterologist in the building booked up till December is a joke hire more people if you are that busy period I'll drive to mattoon before going here

RecommendedSt Mary’s is a great place as far as care.. as far as I know. My problem is lack of compassion for employees.. and I know two cases of bullying at the Shelbyville facility that were overlooked. 1 person quit and the other is an ongoing situation. SHAME ON YOU!!!!
Lack of care. No f*cks given by staff at St. Mary's. No sense of urgency. No patient focused care at all. Lady at door who was supposed to screen for COVID-19 was busy making a personal phone call. Entrances all blocked with vehicles and nearly inaccessible for immobile patients to maneuver. ZERO SCREENING FOR COVID-19 TOOK PLACE. Not one single question was asked of my party of 4 at all.
