The palliative care at Sacred Heart it mindful, gentle, and sensitive. The staff here are very special and understand the high emotions of patients, family and friends and are equipped to respond appropriately and with real empathy. They are a gift to those dying and their friends and family

Dr Hannah Harrington helped my mother (and our family) through the last stages of her short illness. Dr Hannah only met us 24 hours earlier at home, and her compassion therefore, wasn't built up through loyalty and time, but came from a totally pure place of caring. She gave up her personal time after clocking off from work to make the time our mother took her final breath in the scary resuscitation unit as controlled, comfortable and panic-free as possible.
