saw Dr Cacares before Covid in her office and during Covid online through telehealth. I have seen more than a few Psychiatrists ( post-partum depression was my starting point) over the last 20 years when needed. Dr. Cacares is the best! She took the time to ask all the right questions and let me talk. She was very adept at evaluating and helping me think through helpful ideas and very knowledgeable about medications. Dr Caceres is absolutely fantastic. It was always a pleasure dealing with her and took the time to (thoroughly) explain any questions that I may have. Certainly recommend her!
The office rarely answers the phone for days on end. I've left urgent messages about having a crisis and never received returned calls. The crisis have resulted in me being hospitalized and she still didn't follow up. The worst!
I have been seeing Dr. Caceres since 2015, she has helped me find a healthy balance on medications as I battle depression, grief, PTSD & many disabilities. I would highly recommend her and her office. She was in St. Augustine and a few years has been out of CR 210 office only. We have a good relationship and it's worth the drive for me, I have been thru many bad Dr. relationships, when I find gems, I treasure them.
An amazing psychiatrist! (not a fan of the CMPS)
The people who wrote the reviews are accurate about the office. Please not that they do not directly mention Dr Caceres. She works for CMPS, who bought out a St Augustine practice. I am not a fan either, however, Dr Caceres herself is amazing and the only reason that I put up with the other nonsense. It's hard to find a really good psychiatrist. She looks at the whole picture, searching for physical/genetic causes as well. This is RARE. She is very kind, caring, and smart. I do not work for her!
I never actually saw the dr or got an appt. I tried for over a month just to schedule a new patient appt. I would leave a message and get a call back 2-3 days (or more!) later. If I missed the call and called back, even minutes later, nobody answered. The one time I talked to someone she said new patient appts were scheduling over a month later and if you can't make it, you have to cancel a week in advance! If I can't even get a new patient appt. scheduled I can't imagine how the service is!
Absolutely awful. Once you make an appointment, you MUST keep it. And if you need to reschedule, it better be in advance (good luck getting through to them) and within ONE WEEK of making the original appointment. If you don't do both of these you will be charged $100. If you want to see someone where money is the number one priority, then you've found the right place.
Whoever wrote that first review must work for her LOL.
