I had a deeply disappointing virtual appointment with Ms. Starnes. As someone new to therapy and seeking support for grief, I was drawn to her profile for her advertised warmth and experience. Unfortunately, she seemed unprepared and dismissive. She was late to our session, hadn’t reviewed my intake, and didn’t even know my name. Ms. Sabra has made such a difference for my children. She is responsive to their needs, willing to adapt based on how they're doing, and incredibly positive. She is filled with wich grace, love, and hope. Yet at the same time, holds clear boundaries and accountability. She's been so helpful with trying to collaborate with our insurance and make everything work out. It has been a blessing in each of our lives to have her join our village for this time to learn skills and adapt to challenges.
Next Place Therapy is the right fit for children, teens and adolescents to include individuals on the Spectrum. Therapist all seem to be familiar with sand tray therapy and I appreciate how parent sessions are incorporated into treatment plans.
