Had never seen my reaction before which I now understand is called a drug hypersensitivity which can go on for weeks to months after stopping medication. I did not receive the help I needed and ended up in ER and Urgent Care multiple times for burning sensations on my skin. She also dismissed me when I said everything happened after the antibiotic when it’s in the warning label of the medication. Routine skin screening. Dr. Khattri was a force of nature, a good one, I mean. She was quick, efficient, kind and provided all the details i needed to feel reassured about my health. I've been slow to start these routine treatments but now will look forward to them, with Dr. Khattri as my doctor.
I waited 3 months for an appointment with Dr. Khattri and it was the worst experience I’ve ever had with any doctor. She came in with a predetermined opinion based on minimal information and was dismissive and rude. She ordered no further tests, asked me no questions and did the most cursory exam. She spent about 10 minutes and then left. Not only was she rude to me (the patient), she mistreated her assistant doctors who came in to the appointment.
