I feel strongly that a place of Psychiatry should be a calming, peaceful environment. Anything else is counter-productive. The clinic atmosphere is a hot mess and the receptionist, Jennifer, could not be more difficult and disrespectful.
Dr. Vinekar is very knowledgeable. He spends all the time you need with him. Explaining your condition completely.
When I go to a psychiatrist I want to be treated with respect and kindness. While dr V was kind upon first impression the rest of my experience at this facility was horrible. I would have to wait a minimum of 30-45 minutes after checking in to be seen. Dr V would cut me off in the middle of my sentences and finish my assumed thought. Dr Vinekar was recommended by my old psychiatrist who retired in 2013 & said he believed he was the best in the state Since being under Dr Vinekars care since 2013 I agree that he is the best For years I was misdiagnosed until my old Dr properly diagnosed me I've tried many different meds & Dr Vinekar didnt give up on me until we found the right 1 for my depression He is very thorough, listens & truly cares. I FINALLY have my life back thanks to Dr Vinekar I would higly recommend him to others.
Was prescribed a prescription from Dr. Vinekar, and the prescription was fine, and the initial visit was relatively painless. However, after the third visit, they stopped scheduling me and they refused to fax the pharmacy my prescription, and wouldn't reschedule until about half a year later. That's a long period to go without a prescription with very intense withdrawal symptoms. By definition, this is malpractice. Needless to say, the experience with my psychiatrist is driving me crazy.
