I had a very good experience with Dr. Yang and his staff. I hurt my hand on thanksgiving Day and I contacted Dr. Yang’s office to make sure I didn’t have any issue - unfortunately for me, I needed to have surgery. Dr. Yang explained everything to me in a very detailed, lamen terms manner to be sure I understood what kind of tear I had and what needed to be done. The surgery went well, with minimal scaring. I would definitely recommend Dr. Yang to my friends and family but hopefully I won’t need to :)
Dr. Yang is incredibly talented and wonderfully kind. I had had a previous hand surgery that had not gone well, and he explained what he would do and what the outcome likely would be. It turned out that I have even more range of motion and strength than we anticipated. It is also a measure of the NYU Langone quality of service that Dr. Yang's PA, Kayla Cassidy, is equally as wonderful. She answers questions fully, she returns calls quickly, and she removes sutures incredibly gently. I would never go to another hand surgeon.
Dr. Yang did my hand surgery in 12/23. He is an excellent surgeon. There is no mark on my hand from the surgery. You would never know that I had surgery. Dr. Yang is an excellent communicator. He explained everything so well. He’s a very positive person, thus he made the whole experience so easy. I highly recommend him.
