I took my ’04 Chevy Silverado Z71 in for a transmission diagnosis and rebuild. The Truck had lost 4th Gear in Maryland. I drove back to Groton. S and S checked the electrical first. Upon disassemble they found a broken band. S and S made sure the rebuild was required before selling me. 2 months later, truck drives like new and the gas mileage has improved. Shifts solid when towing.
