I took my ¿04 Chevy Silverado Z71 in for a transmission diagnosis and rebuild. The Truck had lost 4th Gear in Maryland. I drove back to Groton. S and S checked the electrical first. Upon disassemble they found a broken band. S and S made sure the rebuild was required before selling me. 2 months later, truck drives like new and the gas mileage has improved. Shifts solid when towing.
S and S have given me satisfaction every time I bring my truck in. They always do the job properly and the job is completed for a very reasonable price. My truck drives like new again and I know that I can look forward to many miles of dependable service. I will refer as many people as possible to your business. Great communication from S&S. Explained the work they had to do and did nothing unnecessary. They did a great job and I'm really glad I brought my car here. If I need their help I would come back next time.

I want to personally thank Joe Reynolds for a job well done repairing the transmissioln on my 2002 Ford Explorer! Joe was what I call "user friendly"; he was easy to communicate with,efficient and affordable. Joe took the time to explain the work to me and after seeing how organized his shop and work was ,Iknew I had made the right decision taking my transmission to him ! I wouldn't hesitate taking any transmission work to him and I would highly recommend anyone needing transmission work done to talk to Joe first!

Joe, Once again I am driving a "happy car." The transmission dichotomy you performed was so successful. The new engine mounts stopped the motor from jumping up and down and eventually denting the hood. Joe being a woman, an older one at that, you were extremely sympathetic and honest in not taking advantage of me for which I am very thankful.
After using S & S I now know No other transmission shop can compare. I have had both of my vehicals serviced there and if I ever need a new transmission Joe will be the one I call.Oh I almost forgot to mention Joe does all the work himself and seems very meticulous just look at his shop you will see what I meen. .
