This is from my father-in-law: On the morning of Jan 25th, 2020, the transmission went out of my Ford 550. I’m from Michigan and I didn’t know any transmission shops in Bismarck. So when my wrecker driver showed up he knew where to take me. My truck was left at S&S Transmission on a Saturday morning. I called Monday morning and told them my problem and they said they could fix it. Had transmission line failure traveling thru ND from Seattle/ Tacoma area. S&S communicated well and got us back on the road in a reasonable amount of time. Yes, I would recommend them.
I had a bad torque converter on my Cummins. These guys threw in a new heavy duty one and beefed up my transmission with some other goodies while they were at it. The best part was the fast turnaround time, and also the communication while doing it. Awesome customer service. Will be taking all possible future transmission work here!
Previous repair shop told me that I had to replace my transmission. Had multiple people recommend S & S Transmission for a 2nd opinion, and I was glad I did!! I ended up NOT having a bad transmission and my bill was under $200.00 - THANK YOU much S & S Transmission!
