I just read a poor review from July 14th. I don't know how or why that person had trouble. We got 10 lobsters and some sea scallops also on the 14th and were very happy with what we got. I have been going there for several years and have always been happy with the prices and quality of the seafood from the market side. I have to admit I don't eat there. I just by seafood to cook myself.

Great place for good fresh seafood. If you don’t want a fancy atmosphere but want great seafood, this is the perfect place for you.
Only leaving a 1 star review because there is not an option to leave 0 stars. We just purchased 44 lobsters and a bushel of clams Friday (7/13/18) to the total of $560, When we got home with everything, 32 of the 44 lobsters had busted claws, missing legs, smashed body shells and of the 32 damaged ones, 29 were dead! Very disappointed in the quality of service and food. - I sent my daughter to get fish from the whole sale side (10lb Pollack and 5lb shrimp) she was waited on immediately but the staff person who waited on her seemingly having a bad day. while sorting through the fish the staff person was approached by a co-worker "really, she's buying all of it" then he asked "anything else" when she responded (5lbs of shrimp) he became frustrated as he had to walk to the back and take out more. So greasy poor service, unfriendly!
Picked up an order of 44 lobsters of which 70-75% had crushed shells and were dead. I called them this morning to discuss the lack of care while packing and spoke with the owner who answered the phone. From the get go he was rude and then proceeded to call me a liar and was very vulgar. I won’t lie, my response to his attitude was less than polite. He told me he was not going to listen to a regular retail customer and told me to start buying my seafood from Market Basket. The best part is that I was not asking for money back... read more
Great seafood and very reasonable price. Little outdated and not so clean sitting area!
The food is superb. The lobster was so fresh and the clam chowder to die for!!
