Did not listen to us at all. Jumped to conclusions and made assumptions not based on fact. Very abrasive. Never going back!
This lady doesn't know what is goin on. She didn't even check my daughter and said she had endometriosis on the first visit. Went back for a second visit and then she tells us my daughter is having muscle spasms ended up placing the IUD which hurt her so badly. I didn't want her to have this yet because I felt like this lady didn't know what the heck was goin on. Now she continually has more issues. This lady tried to tell me that I didn't have a decision in this. My daughter is 16. Idiot
We have had a very positive experiences with Dr. Hertweck. I had taken my daughter to see my OB/GYN (which my daughter did not like) and my Dr. referred her to Dr. Herweck. My daughter was very nervous and she made my daughter feel very comfortable and relaxed. She also prescribed a certain birth control for my daughter to control her acne which allowed her to stop using $400/month acne medication prescribed by our dermatologist which was drying out her face horribly. We are very pleased.
I do NOT recommend this doctor and would NOT take your daughter here. She is arrogant and rude and cares nothing for your opinion or time. She expects you to arrive 30 minutes PRIOR to your appt time or she will not see you, nevermind how long you sit waiting in her office on her. Very little regard for the patient. This practice is all about her, what works for her, what suits her.
I do not recommend this office. They are the only adolescent gynecology office so you are stuck if your daughter needs to see them, but it takes about 6 months to get an appointment, then each time we have been scheduled, they cancel and re-schedule us. They require you to come in 30 minutes in advance of an appointment and if you are not there 30 minutes in advance, the doctor will not see you. Ridiculous. Very disrespectful of my time.
Dr. Hertweck was absolutely amazing with my teenage daughter at her most recent appointment. I was so impressed with how she treated her and took the time to listen to our concerns and address each issue.
She isn't trustworthy & she acts like she knows that she is talking about but truly she has messed my system up switching my birthcontrol, I'm even more irregular than I was and I have more pain than ever ! I will be switching doctors ASAP!
Stay away from this woman. My sister was being treated for an infection and the anti biotics she was being treated with showed to have a negative reaction with an gardasil. Understandably my mom told Dr. Hertweck she would like to wait on my sister having the gardasil. Dr. Hertweck proceeded to call my mother stupid (my moms a nurse practiconer so she knows what she's talking about with medical stuff). Needless to say we never saw her again.
Absolutely misdiagnosed. Told by 3 separate doctors one thing, shown why. Then told something else. I do not trust her at all.
