Got what I owed cut in half. Very nice and professional
The primary problem I had with the company is after I saved money, I end up paying taxes which was 2600 dollars. Luckily the stimulus took care of this debt, but no one explained that the IRS considered this earn income which is ridiculous.
I've been on quite a journey with this company. After sudden job loss post-college, I accrued considerable credit card debt while I pursued my Graduate degree. After struggling for 2 years with trying to pay them off myself, I received a call from a company I'd never heard of. HORRIBLE COMPANY THEY DO NOT PAY OFF YOUR DEBTS. CURRENTLY GOING BACK AND FORTH ON AN ACCOUNT THEY SUPPOSEDLY HAD HELP RESOLVED AND THE CREDITOR NEVER GOT THE PAYMENT AND I FINISHED THIS PROGRAM IN NOV. OF 2019. DO NOT USE THESE FOLKS.
Edit. Continuing to have a positive relationship. My credit score has continued to rise over the past, consecutive six months. I am less than half way through my program, however the completion of payoffs to lenders has resulted in a rise in my credit score by 40+ points during this time. I was also approved for a new credit card and am working to simultaneously rebuild credit. Don't expect debt settlement to be a one step solution.
