A full range of auto repair services, with prompt attention and very reasonable charges. Consumer Reports says the best value in vehicle repair is better local or independent muffler/brake shops, and S&K is the perfect example of that. I could not ask for more from this service center or its staff.
Never been here as a customer but driving by this morning and traffic backed up unusually long even for all the construction. Eventually got up there and it was older couple's van broken down in single lane. And looked like guy from this auto place had seen it and thrown gloves on and come out trying to help them under their hood in the middle of the street. That's a good man working here.

I really wanted to like this place because I’ve heard good things from other people, but my experience at S&K Muffler in St. Clair Shores was disappointing. Communication was poor from the start, and I felt like I was being brushed off whenever I asked questions about the work being done. I spent nearly $2,500 at this shop in a single week across two vehicles (A/C compressor hose and transmission oil cooler lines on a Cadillac ATS and rear wheel bearings on a Subaru Impreza). My experience with a transmission oil cooler line repair on my Cadillac ATS was not just a case of overcharging, but a total failure of safety and professional ethics.
