Wrongfully diagnosed a braking failure due to braking master cylinder as a faulty transmission. Wasted close to $1600 getting a new transmission and labour to install it as well as wasting a perfectly good transmission. Sent my Gearbox down for repair and got it back faulty. So brought the whole car in next time (after driving down from Exmouth with a bungee cord around the shifter to keep it in gear!). I brought in my Hilux last year after a lap around Australia, hitting lots of nasty corrugations and offroad tracks with a heavily loaded ute. My rear diff had started leaking around the seal, and needed a rebuild overall. Shane's shop managed to get it in promptly, rebuilt it top to bottom with new bearings, and had it back to me quickly, at a fair price. A year later, when one of the seals started leaking, I called Shane and he fixed it and made it right, at no cost. Top of the line shop that backs their work.

Over the weeks dealing with Shane I formed the opinion that he is diligent, honest, pedantic and trust worthy. I did however find that he failed when it came to keeping me informed. This is not a criticism, just a ... read more
