I ended up getting placed into ryther In 2012 or 13 by the courts for drug addiction. I spent 39 days there and graduated. Its hard to explain how much this place did for me At a time where everyone was giving up. Incredible place and staff. I doubt the ones that were there for me are still there but I hope they are all doing great.

My experiences with Ryther have been both personal as a foster parent in addition to professional as a community partner through a local non-profit. Ryther provided trauma-informed care to our foster child in a competent and caring manner while providing us with helpful parent education on behavioral and mental health challenges our child was experiencing. The reason I found my reason to live, and the reason I graduated highschool. After a traumatic past of child abuse and toxic environments this was my last resort, and I told myself if it didn’t work I’d honestly end it all. First of all the therapists are GREAT and genuinely care, they are able to listen to your needs and act on them, and not once did I feel out of place there. Great first episode psychosis program, I only expected to be there for 4 months but ended up being way longer the only reason I stayed past then was the voice hallucinations in my head getting worse love the team, it comes and goes since then just voice hallucinations. Very nice staff. Great therapy. Mostly did family therapy and individual therapy, switched therapists and things actually improved. Only saw Psychiatrist for a short while meds didn’t help much I asked for what I knew would work but could’ve reached out better... read more
