After struggling with high blood pressure during my first pregnancy and not trying Acupuncture until the end of that pregnancy, I knew I wanted to work closely with someone to support me through my second pregnancy. Ryo is my go-to for prenatal massages. My sacrum, lower back, and glutes were all super tight before I went to him and he’s just very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and most importantly, technical. He just finds the spots that I don’t even know about and gets in there and loosens them up. Ryo is a really good practitioner. I became acquainted with the benefits of shiatsu massage while working (for many years) in Japan. He compares very favorably, and his space and demeanor are pleasant as well. Recommended.
I got an amazing Shiatsu massage in Tokyo, so naturally I had to try one when I got home. Booked an Acupuncture/Shiatsu session with Ryo and was not disappointed! He goes above and beyond. Takes detailed notes for like 30 minutes for any issues you are facing/dealing with, and comes up with a custom treatment plan.
