On August 15, 2021 I was in a bad car accident and my foot was partially amputated at the ankle. Dr. Wiska's did an excellent job in not only saving my foot, but also my life. Unfortunately, I had ended up making the decision to request my limb to be amputated on Jan 5, 2022. I will forever be grateful for his care. He saved not only my life that day... I had to leave this review because Dr Wiska is simply amazing. I had a very painful burning sensation in my foot that had been bothering me for a couple months. At first it wasn’t terrible but as time went on it was hurting substantially more and I knew I needed to see a foot doctor fast. Great experience! First time in this office with my 84 year old mother-in-law who broke her foot. Staff was warm and welcoming. We felt very comfortable. No wait. After xrays, Dr. Wiska came in and thoroughly explained how she fractured her foot, how to get it to heal and how to prevent further injury. Very impressed. Worth the drive from Wyandotte to Westland.
I’ve had great treatment at Westland Foot/Ankle clinic. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Drs very informative.. let’s you talk, no interruptions, takes time with you. Answers any / all questions/concerns. Let’s YOU make decisions on your behalf. Have had surgery by drs too. Easy to get appointments too😁 Highly recommend!!
