I have made 2 visits. One to get TravelPro luggage fixed which was done cheaper than expected and in a short time. And to buy two pieces of Briggs & Riley luggage. Sales staff was helpful and courteous. Also buying luggage between Thanksgiving and Christmas is on sale.
Poor communication – "Eh" would probably be the correct rating. I had a TravelPro bag that needed a zipper replacement. I called and talked to a lady who said they do perform that type of service, it was just a question of whether in warranty or not, and would take 2-4 days. I drive all the way over there (which is 45 minutes one-way for me) and am told by the man working the customer store that it's not warranty and would cost $80 to fix. The absolute best luggage retailer I have encountered – As mentioned in the earlier post this company has moved. I have been doing business with Rynn's for 10 years and buy every piece of luggage from them we own. They have very fair pricing for luggage, and offer excellent customer service on repairs whether in or out of warranty at a nominal charge. This company has moved – I've been doing business with Rynns for years. I can not imagine what took place with the Dallas Traveler below. I've bought several pieces of high-end luggage there and had repairs made there, too. They are up front and will go out of their way to fix things, and they will tell you when something is beyond repair or too old to find parts (which may not be that old at all, but we change fast). Aggressive, Angry Manager – I do not recommend Rynns Luggage for luggage repairs. The customer service is poor at best. After requesting Rynns to honor a warranty on a TravelPro bag, the owner aggressively refused to repair the bag stating the broken zipper was not his problem. When I asked him to review the issues, he yelled at me, berated me and refused me service. I do not know how this man stays in business by treating his customers in such a manner.
