Buying a Ryder Box Truck was the worst decision I made for my business. Major problems started 2 months after I brought the truck. Yes, I did buy a warranty. But the warranty did not cover enough $20,000 max. The DPA system went immediately, Then the turbocharger and the warranty company did not approve the request to replace it, and the engine ceased up and only $8,500 was left on the warranty so now I have to come up with the rest over $9,000. WARNING! DO NOT BUY trucks from these guys. I should of learned my lesson the first time. I bought a sprinter and the check engine light popped on the way home from the purchase. That took a while to get fixed. Then I bought a 26' box truck. SAME THING! This time, it was TWO check engine lights that came on. They had it in multiple shops for weeks. Terrible, lucky my truck didn’t catch fire. I didn’t make it 10 miles down the road, had to have it towed. The batteries were leaking acid (they had to know since they had to jump start it), needed 2 new drive tires, the pinion seal is leaking, the wiper blades were bad, NO Freon in the ac, bunk heater isn’t working and the marker lights that were burnt out were glued into the broken sockets.
