RecommendedWe took our 5 year old lab for training. She pulled, didn’t heel, and could not walk off leash. 8 weeks later and a lot of work and an old dog CAN learn new tricks. She now doesn’t require a gentle leader, only gentle commands. Worth every penny.
Was out on a quail hunt with Buck and his dogs...I think I cried the whole time. It was poetry in motion watching his dogs work. Beautiful.
Best place to take your best friend, not only is the Ryckman family extremely talented, they also make you feel like family!
We rescued a German Shepherd mix that was very weary of people and was starting to show signs of aggression when he felt threatened. We invested in quality training here and it paid off. Our dog is very easy to handle and is getting over his fears. He shows no aggression towards others and is very obedient. People in our neighborhood see us walking him will comment what a well behaved dog he is. When we go in vacation Ryckman is the only one that I have full confidence that our dogs will be well taken care of.
Buck is extremely knowledgeable and patient willing to answer any questions I had. Buck had a nice little patch of brush right by his kennels with different shrubs, grass, and trees to work the dogs in a natural setting. We got snake avoidance training for my English Cocker Spaniel. Would highly recommend for any basic obedience, snake training, or any higher level hunting training.
Fantastic training - our lab has worked two dove seasons since training with Ryckman Kennels and she’s 100%. I was most impressed with her response to the commands - pure appreciation that we are finally able to speak her language! We have a young dog in obedience training now - absolutely the best investment in our dog’s safety.
