I came to Dr. Selley for a second opinion after being seen at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush. From the start, he took the time to listen, thoroughly review my imaging, and clearly explain what was going on and what my options were—all while putting me at ease. He completed the Hip Preservation Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, which is rare to find in Chicago. Dr. Selley is truly exceptional, and I am grateful to have found him. I will be a patient for life!
If I could give zero stars, I would. I came to this orthopedic surgeon for knee pain, and I left permanently worse than when I walked in. He personally gave me an injection (not a nurse), and ever since, my condition has deteriorated dramatically—easily 10x worse than before the visit. To make matters worse, his arrogant, hypermasculine attitude made the entire experience uncomfortable and dismissive.
