He did a resection of my left big toe, removing arthritis and shaving down the outer bone. It took four months to heal, but he told me that at the beginning and now it's all good.
Dr McCarthy performed a lapidus bunionectomy for me in 2020 (it’s 2025) and I couldn’t have been happier with the results. So much so that I’m thinking of flying to MN to have him perform the same surgery on my other foot as I have moved since.
Dr Mc Carthy is the best dr. I have had in quite some time. I had foot surgery and he was so thorough, caring and listened to all my concerns. Couldn’t recommend him more strongly. And his assistant is absolutely the sweetest person. She loves her job and it shows. Great team!!!!
