Dr. Baker was fairly helpful in my health care, but the staff and system in place in the office is just horrible. Office staff is unhelpful and rude. Doctor is almost never available for an appointment. And I just kept getting the feeling they were trying to make money at every opportunity. I've been seeing Dr Baker for about 2 years now and he has always been great for me, which is why I keep going back. I feel comfortable talking to him about all my health concerns and symptoms. He gives practical advice on either managing my issues or how to get rid of them. Down to earth with a good demeanor and a good listener. Highly recommend.
Dr Baker and I have discussed an increase in dosage, that I have been taking since February but when I went to the pharmacy they told me that the doctor did not authorize the medicine. I called the doctor’s office and they were really rude. They said the insurance declined the increase. I called the insurance and they told me that the doctor needed to contact the insurance. DO NOT be fooled by this guys perky smiles when visiting. Give it time and you will see. I wrote a good review just after my 1st visit to before things started happening with bills. This Dr Baker is very disappointing. 1st visit: Meet and physical. It seemed like a pleasant appt with his smiles and questions. He asked me how I was feeling and I said good except today I ate some kielbasa ad I think it was a little bad. I feel just a little nauseous from it jokingly saying. Unprofessional, inexperienced, and empathy lacking doctor does not care about your siffering. Rushes through appointments and thinks he knows you with a couple minutes. who thinks he knows you within a couple minutes of office visit. Questions and even refuses patient's requests for specific labs Patients genuine concerns are usually "beyond his scope" and with ease quickly writes referrals to other doctors. You may leave office feeling worse than when you came in with a sense that you irritated him.
They don't pick up their phone. Their phone system is automated. There is no one to talk to. The only way to get the office's attention is to just show up without an appointment. This is not what I would call quality health care.

I'm lucky to have found him. Moved and had to find new GP. Liked not being rushed through.
Wish I could rate his office a zero! Just had knee replacement surgery last Thursday. I cannot get his office and staff to do my referrals for physical therapy and home health care. I have Humana Gold insurance that requires my PCP to do the referrals. The office staff is refusing to do them. Mean time, I am in severe pain and cannot get my dressing changed, nor get evaluated on my physical therapy. The office is not willing to work with my surgeon, the hospital, or the insurance company.
