On Oct. 21, 2023 I ruptured my carotid artery. This was a life-threatening event. The bleeding into my neck could have quickly compromised my breathing, or I could have died from blood loss. Upon my arrival to the E.R. , knowing that I required immediate surgery to save my life, they called Dr. Meyer.
