We recently closed on our Ryan home. A nice home that suited this phase of our life. A few weeks into living in our house we started tripping breakers in our kitchen. It turned out that our fridge was not on a dedicated line causing a breaker to trip when we used small kitchen appliances. This is allowed by code, but best practice is to put the fridge on its own breaker. To fix this we had to add another breaker to our electrical panel. I would never buy from Ryan Homes again. This community is wonderful because of the people but the house has problems, the HOA is awful and the company has been difficult to deal with since we signed. We bought because there were less options at the time. We have had so many issues with the house including cabinets not attached to the walls, heat not working, flooding water and more. The company always skirts an issue. With our cabinet the guys said oh we don’t have the right screw for it but we can use this, it should be ok... read more
