Warning to all those with complex chronic illnesses and who may have medical PTSD: Dr. Gleeson was very dismissive, insulting, and used condescension instead of kindness. I brought scientific articles from legitimate medical journals for him to look over, and he refused to read them. Dr Gleason and his staff always make me feel relaxed. From check in to checking out everyone works as a team and are seamless.
I have mixed feelings. The actual examination by Dr. Gleason was very thorough. The process of getting an appointment to see him and to schedule an important test is terrible. After calling and speaking with someone in early June to schedule my appointment I was told that no appointments can be made without a referral, so by the time I got the referral, the availability of an appointment slipped to August 11.
