I have worked with Dr. Miyamoto for a few years now trying to deal with a labral tear in my hip. He gave me alternative treatment options to help relieve my hip pain and versus just suggesting and pushing surgery. Ultimately the pain was constant and limiting my ability to enjoy physical activities I enjoyed so I decided to move forward with surgery. We have seen Dr. Miyamoto twice for my son's baseball injuries, and both times he has been great!
Dr. Miyamoto provided expert care and advice for a long-term shoulder problem.
Dr. Miyamoto was accommodating, a good listener, offered great advice, and took his time with me. I felt heard, and I didn’t feel rushed. I didn’t feel as if he was trying to sell me a procedure, and he was conservative in his approach to treatment. These characteristics, in my opinion, are the sign of an excellent surgeon.
Dr. Miyamoto is great. Very knowledgeable and excellent with explaining diagnosis and treatment options. Have only had good experiences with the staff here also. Highly recommend.
