Really bad experience with this guy and office. First off I scheduled an appt in person and they called me asking if I’d move it to virtual. I asked if there were any differences and they said no unless I’m looking for bloodwork. I said sure fine. Then comes the appt and they never sent me the info to do the virtual visit. Call UCSF and finally get a hold of someone (you know you can never just call the office directly anymore…smh) then finally get logged on. Doctor comes on, seems not in a great mood which is fine. No interest in understanding patterns or patient or family history, or digging into symptoms. Asked me very few questions before coming to strong snap conclusions. Terrible bedside manner, no empathy.
Amazing, attentive, on time for visits, can schedule last minute and he doesn't mind
I do NOT recommend Ryan Cudahy. He was very impersonal and transactional during my appointment - he didn’t really care about my wellbeing. During my annual preventative care appointment with this doctor, I got charged for additional codes outside of preventative care with NO communication from his / the clinic's end around what kind of care during the appointment would be covered by my insurance and what I would be responsible for.
