My mom and I recently moved to Florida from Kentucky. While trying to find housing we considered buying an RV. We found one we liked at Planet RV. My mom applied for financing through Planet RV for the RV. They asked for a $500 deposit. The financing was taking a couple days and the salesman was asking for different paperwork and we felt like we were not going to get approved. They are out to steal and scam people. We signed a contract in September of 2023, it's been over 4 months now and they still owe me money. They are a very shady and sneaky dealer. I would avoid going there at all costs. I've been trying to communicate with them (********* and ****) but they're always hiding.There are so many other better RV dealers. Don't get scammed by Planet RV.
Experience working with this company has been nothing but problems since purchasing my ** from them. As part of the deal, this company took a trade in of my boat the payoff of this was supposed to be completed when the ** was purchased, and we are now 3 payments in on the ** and payoff of the boat is still pending. Planet RV made 2 phone payments, both of which were returned, and I now have a missed payment fee on my other recreational vehicle loan and a returned payment fee which was supposed to be paid off. Brought in my 2006 Niagra Fleetwood Pop Up Camper because of a roof gearing problem. They fit me in with no notice, before a holiday weekend. Finished service 3 days before promised. Definitely would go back. Sam H
I have had the pleasure of meeting the repair manager, the rental manager, and the owner. They are great people who care about what they are doing. I saw more than one satisfied customer after another come and go while I was there. Down to earth and friendly.
The team moves quickly. Everyone is very helpful!
