I can't say enough good things about her. Dr. Shifman is not your normal dentist. She's very friendly, professional, and gentle. For people who don't like shots, she had nitrous oxide. I'd highly recommend her.
A very positive experience. She was recommended to me by one of my co-workers. Prior to going to Dr. Shifman I hadn't been to a dentist for more than 10 years and was living with constant tooth pain. She came up with a plan that I could afford and set me up with financing ( a real plus because we were doing implants, venners, bleaching, fillings, and a deep cleaning). I am so happy I went through with the treatment- I can eat everything now including Corn Nuts.
She is very caring and a perfectionist at her craft. Not only do I see her, I have recommended my husband, and many of my co-workers.
I have been going to Dr. Shifman for about a year now. I have had two small fillings and several cleanings. She really takes the time to listen to your concerns and makes every effort to make the visit painfree and comfortable. The office offers every level of sedation possible. I only use the nitrous in addition to being numbed up, but it is nice to know if I needed additional sedation options, they are available. Dr. Shifman is the best dentist I have ever seen. I have always been apprehensive to have dental work done and she gave me medication that relaxed me. Before doing any of the treatment she explained it completely and allowed me to ask tons of questions. My teeth look beautiful and believe it or not I enjoy going in for my check ups now. I have recommended her to all of my friends and family. Thank you Dr. Shifman for putting up with a wimp like me!
