Ruth helps you develop YOUR voice. She is very dedicated to her students and sacrifices a lot for them. I had lessons with Ruth for over a year and she made it very personalized and fit to my needs. No matter what style of music you like to sing, she helps you with your interests and passion and doesn’t push you to use your voice for something you don’t enjoy. She has become a great friend and teacher to me.

I love ruth as a teacher and mentor. She is a very talented vocalist and is uplifting even with her critiques. While teaching she builds an environment of confidence and growth. The techniques she cultivates in her students can be applied in any genre of music from opera to jazz to musical theater you will learn how to shape, project, and emote with only your body as the instrument.

Dr. Ruth Ellis was wonderful to work with. She helped me realize the importance of my own vocal health. Ruth worked with me to find a sound that is free from vocal fold damage.
