Me and a buddy drove up to the port, to go to Rusty's, on the water. We lucked out and got a table by the water. Great view!! I've been here before and loved it! I ordered a margarita on the rocks. I had to send it back as it tasted like the mix was spoiled. I got a rum runner with a floater. Wow! I ordered the yellow fin ahi. It was excellent!! I also ordered the fried oysters dinner. Rusty's was a wonderful and relaxing place eat. Situated right next to a canal, myself and my girlfriend sat outside and were able to totally chill while eating here. Food was terrific, loved all I ate, from the steamed oysters, the calamari, coconut shrimp and the very tasty key lime pie. The waitress was also great, she was very friendly and pleased to serve us, she fully deserved her tip. Would certainly recommend Rusty's to others. I can't wait to go back again
This is the second time in a few months that we've been there and have been disappointed by the service and the food. Our seafood was overcooked, the waitress didn't seem to have time for us, and it was where my daughter wanted to go for her birthday! The waitress didn't even look at my daughter when she basically tossed the cake onto the table, no Happy Birthday, no anything. The oysters, clams, mussels, and scallops were all overcooked. Always a great meal and fun servers. Great views of the port, waterway and boats.
Amazeballs. I overdosed on fresh raw oysters the size of small pancakes. It was heaven. The employees were beyond friendly to an awkward, solo out of towner, as were the regular patrons. I'm so happy I chose to eat here during my only night in town. I cannot recommend it enough. So. Many. Oysters.
