Our founder Rusty Fenton’s dream was to bring the authentic taco stand experience to local communities and to become the neighborhood taco stand. The dream became reality when the first Rusty Taco opened in a converted gas station on Greenville Avenue in Dallas, TX in 2010. But Rusty Taco is more than just a place for street tacos. It was so unbelievably hot in the restaurant you couldn't even enjoy your meal. If we were this hot I can't imagine how it it was for the employees.
The front person was so rude! First time I've been there, so I didn't know how it worked. She called Shawn, and i went up because it sounded like John. The person at the register asks no questions and is very rude. If you don't give a tip, she knows it while you pay and maybe that's it.
Had Rusty Taco cater a graduation party. Food was delicious and had lots of leftovers for the next day. Food was ready when promised and staff was very friendly.
