I walked into their store expecting to look around at their surfboards, and I left after having a one-on-one conversation with the man himself, Rusty, who helped design a custom surfboard for me. Unreal. Everyone I spoke with from the time I arrived (with Kieran hooking it up with an unexpected sit down with Rusty, and Jen keeping it light hearted with the jokes) was great. Probably one of the coolest experiences I’ve had with a shaper. Rusty and his staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk too I didn’t really have a particular shape in mind I’m about to do some traveling, and being a bigger guy at 6’2” 280 lbs, I naturally wanted a Rusty for my travel board.
