Dr Payne LISTENS, CARES & is not “knife-happy!” Conservative approach to the blood clot / tumor in my lumbar spine that another neurosurgeon tried to excise & left me w/significant nerve damage!
The Very Best Doctor I have ever had in my life. Saved me TWO TIMES. Successfully removed two complicated nerve sheath tumors one deep in the median nerve of my left forearm and removed all of it and preserved full function and feeling in my hand (I’m a professional guitar teacher fyi). Dr. Payne demonstrated remarkable empathy and was meticulous in explaining my treatment options. He was thorough and considerate in his delivery, ensuring I felt comfortable to ask questions and express any concerns. His excellent bedside manner truly stands out. Additionally, the staff is welcoming, with the receptionist consistently greeting patients with a smile and utmost professionalism. I highly recommend both this office and Dr. Payne for anyone seeking compassionate and competent care.
This doctor lack empathy and bedside manner. He should not consult with a patient if he don’t specialize in there medical condition. Instead of acknowledging my condition wasn’t his specialty and recommended a doctor who was. He just sit with his legs crossed telling nothing I can do, I don’t know what to tell you.
If you are hoping to get in soon to see this doctor, you might want to find another one! We went to Presbyterian ER on 1-30-24 and were referred here. The discharge papers state that someone will contact us from this office within 48-72 hours. The woman who answered the phone at the office said to not call again and that they would call back.
