Dr. Slayton was my Dr. for 8+ years. He left Vinton and started a new practice in Daleville Va. But has stopped his practice there also. Don't know what happened to him . I was really pleased with him .
Dr. Slayton is top notch, he takes his time to listen to your issues and concerns. He also follows up with you when you on your next visit to ensure your previous issue in health is progressing and if not, he makes sure to take care of it to get you in better health. I wish i could find out his new location, I miss you Dr Slayton! All in all, he has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've encountered and truly has an interest in the care of his patients well being at heart!
Bright, caring, hard-working doctor. Always obtains a good history and examination. Covers all of the bases and spends the time needed to explain his findings and recommendations. Highly recommended.

I’ve been under the care of Dr. Slayton for 8 years. He is always personable and compassionate. I have never once felt rushed or that my needs were not being met. He listens to my concerns and addresses them appropriately. He is courteous and often asks how my family is getting along. As I’ve aged and my health problems have increased he has properly adjusted my medications. He is a great doctor.

Dr Slayton is a caring and knowledgable doctor. The first time I saw him he was in the waiting room, kneeling to speak to an elderly patient. At my last checkup he spent a great deal of time going over medical information with me which is to be expected, however, he also spent time asking about my family and how I was doing in general. Dr Slayton also keeps up with new meds. I would highly recommend him.
Your life should be the most important thing to you so if that is true then you do NOT want Dr. Russell Slayton as your doctor!! He does not care about you!!
Dr. Slayton is personable, exceptionally knowledgable, compassionate, and thorough. Not only do I highly recommend him, I fully trust him with anyone I send his way.
