Service was good. However the fish was salty. When I asked for the manager, the owner was there at the time. The waitress went over and told him, that a customer would like to speak with him...he totally ignored me, and never came.
Food is always great. Service is sometimes slow. Music is always a vybe!
Great music and vibes, but that’s about it. Service at The Russell was nonexistent—wrong orders, lukewarm food, and 20+ minute waits for drinks in a not-too-busy restaurant, from my perspective. My oxtail plate was tough, dry, and overpriced. The bathrooms were a mess, and I'm not a fan of the "horrible" parking lot. Definitely not worth it for a group outing! Time of dinning was 730pm
Super small portions for basic Jamaican food for a ridiculous price. You should never have to pay over $60 bucks for just two take out entrees. You’re better off going to your local Jamaican spot on the corner and get the same meals cooked the way it’s supposed too for a fraction of the price. Oven baked jerk chicken for $30 should be a crime.
Went on a Friday night >place was dead. Sat at the bar >ordered a martini, but the base of the glass was dirty. Ordered stew chicken>food was cool with a pinch of warmth (yes a pinch of warmth). Food was bland. I needed salt and pepper but the waitress did not check back. Still ate it..out of respect. Drink ran dry>asked for another>took the waitress 20 mins to get back to me.
