My grandmother called Dr. Lauderdale office and his receptionist or nurse I have yet to find out told my 76 year old grandmother that “she was not important” now idk if they think this is acceptable but it is not. What if it was somebody last days on earth and this is what you tell somebody. I will be going to the Joint commission.
Avoid this place. I have PANS/PANDAS, a relatively rare disorder. To test for it, I was referred for a spinal tap by Dr. Tyler Kaplan. The procedure took place on January 29, 2026. After that, the facility LOST one of the important test results. On top of that, Dr. Kaplan will not give me IVIG, the recommended treatment for PANS/PANDAS, despite my test results showing high levels of strep in my blood. I've also had doctors in the past recommend and treat me with IVIG, so it's assuredly a safe and effective procedure for me. ... read more
