constant miscommunication and a serious lack of compassion from most (not all) of the staff. We were told different things by different people and the care team felt completely uncoordinated and disconnected.
Scaryyyy! I had a family down in critical care the nurse that was assigned she was very honest I work in ICU so I was familiar with some of the things being done. The nurse looked lost I asked if everything was ok she stated she didn’t get proper training to critical care!!! I appreciate that she didn’t start anything that she wasn’t comfortable doing. I can’t thank Rush Specialty Hospital enough for the care, compassion, and dignity they showed my loved one during such a difficult time. The nurses, doctors, techs, and therapists went above and beyond every single day. They were attentive, patient, and truly listened — not just to medical concerns, but to the emotional needs of everyone involved. The most important aspect was how they lead with care. I loved everyone here. My grandmother has gotten great care. Everyone has been very kind to my grandmother and our family. Therapy has helped her make progress. I recommend Rush Rehab.
