I had an overall very bad experience at Rush. I was discharged with no way home (my ride was unavailable for hours) while sedated and barely able to walk. Complete disregard for my safety. Also I was given basically NO post-discharge instructions and some prescribed meds were NOT sent to my pharmacy as promised. On day 3 (final day of my stay) miscommunication between the G.I. team and the doctors/nurses prevented me from getting an ordered procedure. I had my third baby here.They didn't gave me a baby bassinet in the labor room after having my baby.They wanted me to breastfeed all the time and wouldn't give me baby formula. My baby was naked with no diaper on in a room cold because the a.c. was on . It was the worst thing I could of done having my baby here. The night nurses suck there rude take forever to reply the call button.And took forever to get discharge.
