I came to Rush because I am pregnant, only 15 years old, and I was having scary symptoms that made me worried about preeclampsia. While my pregnancy and labor experience with rush OBGYN was great, everything I’ve experienced with the RUSH system post partum has been an absolute nightmare. The postpartum suite was disgusting and the nurses were rude and dismissive. And what’s more concerning is that I have been unable to get a doctor at RUSH to sign off on my short term disability form after 2 weeks post- delivery. Had my OBGYN appointment canceled on me the day of my appointment. I understand things happen, but now 7 months later had the same thing happen again.
