Recently, my father unexplainably became incoherent and fell unconscious in our home. My mother called 9-1-1 and Rural Metro ambulances came to pick up my father and rush him to the ER. Assuming my father to still be unconscious, the rural metro aumblance employees openly made crude and degrading remarks about him in his presence. I not only regard the actions of these employees to be unprofessional, but deeply insensitive given the seriousness of the situation.
