Dr Patel seems to be a good doctor, but her medical assistant is horrible. Every time I try to refill my prescription BP meds, it's a huge ordeal. I try to refill through the pharmacy, as the Dr office tells you to, and the pharmacy never gets a response. After a week of that, I submit a request through the patient portal, which also goes ignored. Then I call and leave voicemails, most of which also go ignored. Dr. Patel states she is internal medicine and people choose this type of physician for their ability to care for every basic need. I understand the need for specialists when necessary but I have had a hysterectomy for over 20 years and have been on hormone replacement all this time. My normal internal med doc left this practice and I was forced to find another physician and chose Patel for location. Dr. Patel is very thorough and she asks the right questions to address your issues. I’ve never had a problem with her or her office. I’m always seen in a reasonable amount of time. I’m almost afraid to leave a good review cause I don’t want everyone else knowing what a good doctor she is and changing her accessibility! I’ve been her patient for several years.
