Oh wow! What a horrible shoe store! My wife told the staff lady that she had really hurt her feet in the past when she bought shoes that didn't fit properly. She is a size 6, so not that uncommon you would think. The lady got her to try a size 6 1/2! Also kinda argumentative about extra cushioning, etc. It was too large of course. they had no size 6 of any of the shoes that she was interested in and weren't able to contact the other store because of some issue with their Internet apparently. WE DO NOT APPRECIATE YOU COMING INTO OUR NEIGHBORHOODS IN THE WEE HOURS OF THE AM TO MAKE NOISE & DISRUPT OUR SLEEP SCHEDULES. You ruin every Thanksgiving by doing this.
My experiences at Running Room are consistently exemplary. In this visit to their Royal Oak store, I found Josh friendly and extremely knowledgeable in terms of helping me find the perfect fit and shoe for triathlon training. He was also highly knowledgeable in local running events and even ones up-island where I'm from. You have a lifelong customer!
I come here one a year when im in town. Great staff and legit purposeful shoes.
